- SOUND & LIGHT SIGNAL INDICATION:The wire tracer electrical is equipped with a transmitter and a receiver, which clearly display the test status through sound and LED lights. - LOCATING BREAKER POINT: When the transmitter is turned on downward, if the GREEN light flashes, it indicates that there is an open circuit. The receiver has three function modes representing different intensities that can be adjusted as needed. In areas without an open circuit, the receiver's signal light is full and accompanied by a rapid beeping sound. At the breakpoints, the signal lights and beeps will weaken or even disappear.
- CHECKING SHORT CIRCUIT: When the transmitter is turned on downward, if the RED light flashes, it indicates that there is a short circuit in the circuit. At this point, the red signal light on the receiver is full and accompanied by a rapid beeping sound, indicating a short circuit. In areas without a short circuit, the receiver has no signal, and both the LED light and the beeping sound disappear.
- CONTINUITY FUNCTION: Push the transmitter switch upwards to the CONT mode, and attach the red and black clips to both ends of the wire under test respectively. If the wires are in good condition, the green light will come on. If it doesn't light up, it indicates that the wire is faulty.
