This rare 1950s - early 1960s L. Garrison real fur coat is a statement piece. Features a long, timeless silhouette with dense sheared fur that shifts between black and rich brown in the light. Hip pockets. A luxury vintage find from a Dayton, Ohio fur salon.
There is no species tag, which is common for vintage fur salon coats of this era. It is real fur. Based on the dense sheared texture and construction, it appears to be sheared beaver or muskrat.
