Beautiful gemstone stud earrings from Northern California jewelry makers Holly Yashi, dating to the early 1990s. They are made out of treated niobium, which is extremely lightweight. Handmade in US.
These earrings are in a rounded rectangular shape, with faceted blue topaz stones in a silver oval setting in the center. The niobium metal is silver with a tonal pattern. Hypoallergenic posts for pierced ears. The silver setting is very probably sterling but I can’t guarantee this.
Light wear or tarnish consistent with age. There is a tiny black spot on one of the earrings, may come off with cleaning.
5/8” long, just under 1/2” wide.
