This vintage round metal tin features a classic illustration from The World of Beatrix Potter, specifically depicting Mrs. Rabbit with her children: Flopsy, Mopsy, Cottontail, and Peter.
This tin was manufactured Frederick Warne & Co. (FW & Co.) Many versions were produced in England. These tins were prominently produced during the 1990s (specifically around 1991–1992). The artwork shows Mrs. Rabbit giving her children some of their chores or preparing them for the day, a scene taken directly from Beatrix Potter's beloved stories.These were commonly sold as cookie (biscuit) containers or candy tins. Today, they are popular as collectibles and are frequently used as decorative storage for small items like jewelry, buttons, or tea bags. This is one of my many collectibles of rabbits that I’m having to downsize.
