Born in Ibaraki Prefecture in 1968. Photographer.
Since 1990, he has traveled the world, taking photographs on the theme of war.
In 2001, he participated in the photo exhibition "Positive Lives" hosted by a British photo agency, photographing HIV/AIDS in Japan. For the following eight years, he photographed Hiroshi Hasegawa, an HIV-positive person he met during his interviews, and published the photo book "MONSTER" (Little More) in 2009.
While working on magazine interviews and corporate advertisements, he met film directors and began to point his camera at the film production sites from a documentary perspective.
He has been in charge of many film stills, including the "Kingdom" series by director Shinsuke Sato, the "Rurouni Kenshin" series by director Keishi Otomo, "Last Letter" by director Shunji Iwai, and "Dr. Coto's Clinic" by director Isamu Nakae.

I believe he is famous for his film stills in recent years, but he may have originally been a photographer in the genre of war photographers.
I found a valuable photo collection by Osamu Kikuchi in quite good condition!
I took a look inside and was deeply moved.
As it is a photo collection of war, there are some very graphic cuts.
