Unlike standard spring cradles, our octagon-shaped grips minimize heat transfer by pulling the phone away from the cradle's back on hot days. The spring mechanism is perfectly calibrated, allowing for effortless single-handed insertion & removal of mobile device without straining the mount base.
• PERFECT GRIP STRENGTH: The 25LITE is finely tuned for in-vehicle, semi-truck, and overlanding applications. In short, the spring tension is calibrated by measuring the maximum force achievable while still allowing for single-handed insertion and removal of the phone from the cradle, without any slippage of the ball and socket, and ensuring secure phone retention. We conduct this test using mounting arms up to 7 inches in length, while only finger-tightening the ball and socket joint.
• CLIP-IN GRIPS: Traditionally, our previous generation phone cradle utilized double-sided 3M tape to secure the grips onto the cradle, a method commonly employed by other brands with similar-looking holders. However, in high temperatures, the double-sided tape could loosen, causing the grips to peel away. Our Clip-In Grips address this issue.
• CRADLE PIN SLEEVES ELIMINATE CRADLE BUZZ: Cradle buzz is a common issue in many of our competitors' current products. These metal cradles feature steel pins that run through them to support internal compression springs. However, the metal-on-metal contact, combined with vibrations from vehicles or motorcycles, can result in an irritating buzzing sound. We've eliminated this problem in our Enduro cradles by 'sleeving' the pins, ensuring quiet operation.
