Super Rare Seiko A239-5010 World Timer Alarm (1979) – Dual LCD | All Original The Seiko A239-5010 World Timer Alarm, released in 1979, is one of the most unique and collectible digital watches ever produced by Seiko. It was among the first wristwatches to feature two separate LCD modules — one displaying home time and calendar, and the second showing a world map with selectable time zones. This model has no direct predecessor or successor, making it a stand-alone piece in Seiko’s digital history. The world map display features 19 selectable time zones, set directly via the map, with cities arranged counter-clockwise — placing GMT at the bottom, a design unique to this model. The watch is housed in a stainless steel case, with the original blue dial frame and the correct Seiko Z330 stainless steel bracelet, featuring a sliding clasp for easy adjustment without removable links. Functions include: • Dual LCD displays (time & world map) • World time (19 time zones) • Alarm (home or world time) • Hourly time signal • Full calendar (day, date, month) • Built-in illumination • Accuracy: ±15 sec/month Condition: All original and unpolished. The LCD screen and case show minor surface marks, normal for its age, with no replacements or modifications. Case size: 33mm (excluding buttons) | 39mm lug to lug A truly rare and historically important Seiko digital, perfect for serious collectors.
