NYC's rare middle school album released in 1991 from "GHETTO GROOVEZ RECORDS" was reissued in 2007! Considered a highly sought-after treasure by connoisseurs, this reissue includes a total of 20 tracks, some of which are rare recordings that are not just for DJ play. This album features production by DJ Premier from GANGSTARR (who would release "DAILY OPERATION" the following year) and Easy Moe Bee, a producer associated with the Juice Crew at the time. The year 1991 was a golden year for classic albums like "LOW & THEORY," "BREAKING ATOMS," "DE LA SOUL IS DEAD," "A WOLF IN BLACKSHEEP," and "NAUGHTY BY NATURE," but unlike those top-tier releases, this album features an MC who falls short of being in the major leagues and tracks filled with funky and rough grooves that don't quite reach first-class status. However, the thick and fiery "something" present in this album, including the artwork, makes it an exceptional piece that is highly regarded by collectors and enthusiasts alike.
