"Pannill" '80s vintage Hand painted sweat

This is a vintage sweatshirt featuring a hand-painted design.

The body is from Pannill, an American sweatshirt maker, and based on the tag, it's believed to be from the late 1980s.

Pannill (Pannill Knitting Company) was founded in 1926.

It's a brand with a long history, and in the 70s, it was sold in large American stores. While many brands shifted production to other countries after the 80s, Pannill was one of the few long-established brands that continued to be "MADE IN U.S.A."

This particular piece is a sweatshirt made of 50% acrylic and 50% cotton, a material choice and texture characteristic of this era.

It has a rare black body, a straight raglan cut, and flat seam construction, which is a classic American style.
