Kensington’s Protective Sheet is constructed of Textilene mesh, and is cut to fit a wide range of body confirmations. Textilene is a 1000 x 2000 denier mesh that has many benefits including: 73% UV protection, 78% air permeability, fly and insect protection, fire resistance, and does not absorb heat from the sun or your draft horse. The weave keeps dirt and debris off your draft horse’s coat and offers gentle grooming as your draft horse moves that brings out their natural oils, and helps release loose hair which reduces grooming time, which is especially helpful during shedding seasons. The UV protection keeps your draft horse’s coat safe from bleaching out, and prevents sunburns. The air permeable and non-heat absorbing material keeps your draft horse cool and comfortable in the warm months. In the event of a fire this material resists burning, and will stick to itself, not your draft horse. This sheet features quick clip front closures that are adjustable with buckles, a padded wither, leg arches that provide additional adjustability for the detachable 2” criss cross belly straps with snaps and d-rings, removable, adjustable leg straps with snaps and d-rings, and removable tail cover.
