50A: Soft
60A
70A: Medium
80A
90A: Hard
The following is my personal opinion:
For 70% to 100% keyboards, 70A to 90A is recommended.
For 50% to 60% split keyboards:
- 60A to 80A will still provide a gasket feel.
For 40% or smaller split keyboards:
- 50A to 70A
The recommendation also depends on the placement of the tadpole pins, but the above types are my personal recommendations when they are evenly installed around the edges.
If you want a gasket mount that sinks in well, or if the installation position is not uniform, I recommend 50A.
