Introduced in Japan a year ago, the Saltiga Cuddler has gained immense popularity for topwater fishing, attracting hungry bluefin, yellowfin, yellowtail, and more. Initially, anglers had to import these lures to fish in SoCal, but now they're available here in various colors and equipped with BKK hooks, unlike their Japanese counterparts. Measuring 185mm (7.3") and weighing 95g (3.35oz), these floating lures excel when fish are near the surface or within 50 feet. To use effectively, employ slow, sweeping actions to make the lure dive and swim before resurfacing, best done on a spinning setup. The slimmed-down tail and internal weight enhance casting ease, while the pointed nose aids underwater retrieval.
