The design is the same as the old Japanese version of Hitokage, Rokon, Kameil, Zenigame, Ghost, and Lizard.
Other early overseas cards also have the same design as the old back cards.

Normally, there is a shadow on the right side of the illustration frame, but only in English, there was no shadow in the early editions.
Cards without shadows on the picture frame are called "Shadowless Cards," and they are a specification only seen in the early shipments of English cards, so the rate is set slightly higher than normal cards.
(It seems to be like the no rarity mark cards in the Japanese version.)

As a way to identify them, it seems that you can quickly check whether the year "99" is included before the Nintendo logo at the bottom.
(The "99" notation indicates Shadowless)
