This is a Champion reproduction of a runner's tag college print, featuring a 5-line design.
Made by Nippon Sara Lee Co., Ltd. before the company was renamed Hanes Brands Japan in 2006, this is a crewneck sweatshirt faithfully reproducing the small-letter runner's tag model from the 1940s-50s. Made in Japan. I believe it's a product from around the 2000s.
This era's features include double V-gussets, wide ribbed cuffs, a slightly shorter length, and a binder neck that is a bit wider, allowing for a perfect layering effect where the inner T-shirt subtly peeks out. The narrow sleeve width provides a snug fit, making it look cool.
Among college prints, this is an ultra-rare 5-line discharge print, a level that would cost hundreds of thousands of yen if it were a vintage sweatshirt.
