Night Tempo is a Korean producer and DJ based in the US and Japan, who emerged from the "Future Funk" scene, a net-born music genre that reconstructs 80's Japanese Pops into dance music. He started the "Showa Groove" series in 2019 to update Showa-era pops for the modern era, and is trying to spread the appeal of 80's Japanese Pops overseas. He has also been featured in the media as a key figure in the "City Pop" boom.

This is his second major full album. A total of 10 female artists, from artists he has been in contact with to singers he respects, are participating as featured singers.
In addition to the previously released digital singles featuring Kyoko Koizumi, Maki Nomiya, Asako Toki, and Yū Hayami, Kaoru Akimoto and Hitomi Toyama, whose songs "Dress Down" and "Cathy" have been re-spotlighted overseas in the 80s city pop revival. Miho Nakayama, a singer and actress who was a top idol in the 80s and is still active at the forefront. Marina Watanabe, who was a member of Onyanko Club in the 80s and was sometimes talked about in the context of Shibuya-kei in the 90s. Anju Suzuki, an actress who was active as a singer in the UK under the name KAKKO in the 90s and toured with Kylie Minogue at the time. And BONNIE PINK, who gave us a well-matched collaboration on the previous album's "Wonderland," is back again.
Ten female artists with established careers and achievements wrote lyrics for Night Tempo's original songs and recorded their vocals.

This is a cutting-edge electronic music album based on dance music, with a powerful guest lineup that only Night Tempo could have achieved.
