The product is an antique printed photo postcard featuring a portrait of Sitting Bull, a Lakota Sioux Chief. The image is an engraving based on a photograph from 1881 when Chief Sitting Bull was in Bismarck, North Dakota.

Sitting Bull is most famous for his role in the Battle of Little Bighorn in 1876 where the Lakota and Northern Cheyenne tribes defeated the U. S. 7th Cavalry Regiment led by General George Custer.

The original photograph was taken by Rudolf Cronau, a German artist and journalist, and was celebrate for its accuracy at the time.

The postcard is in near mint condition and has never been posted, making it a valuable and sought-after collectible item for history and postcard enthusiasts alike.
